PINEAPPLE-BERRY-NANA PARADISE RECIPE + TRANSCENDENT LOVE
I woke up this morning thinking a lot about Jimi Hendrix & Bob Marley. What makes them two of my favorite people that ever existed, is that their lives transcended race, sex, sexual orientation, and any other form of divisive behavior. When I think of them, I want to unite with the world, smoke a joint and spread love. So I wanted to dedicate my post today to simply acknowledging that a good amount of evil lives within us all. It’s not Black vs. White, it’s really no color against another color. It’s not about gay or straight. It’s not about sexual orientation. It’s not about rich vs. poor. Social class doesn’t determine a person’s character in entirety. It all comes down to the impact we can make in this world. How many people can we affect positively, so that when our bodies are no longer here, our words, and our life story uplifts a new generation and inspires them to be incredible? How many good deeds can we do to truly help people? What can we do with our gifts of individuality & the universal gift of diversity that would inevitably spill over into someone else’s soul and inspire them?
Smoothie Recipe: Pineapple-Nana-Berry Paradise
Cut the top of the pineapple off (the part with the beautiful green leaves)
Cut the inside of the pineapple around the perimeter being careful not to ruin the sides as you will be using the pineapple shell for a cup.
Once the pineapple is separated from its sides, cut across moving around the core and cut 1 area at a time until it’s all diced up.
Remove the core by cutting it out, and you should have a pineapple cup.
What you’ll need:
1 Frozen Banana
1 Unfrozen Banana
10 Frozen Strawberries
2-3 Unfrozen strawberries
2-3 slices of fresh pineapple
All the pineapple juice from the freshly cut pineapple
Pour the pineapple juice into the blender first. Then mix in the bananas & frozen strawberries.
Blend & pour contents into the pineapple cup & cover the smoothie with the ripe strawberries & the small slices of pineapple. Grab a spoon and enjoy!
This is one of the best ones I’ve made!
